James Fugitt
James Fugitt joined EZCORP in August 2025 as Chief Technology Officer, where he leads the company’s global technology strategy and delivery. With more than 30 years of experience building enterprise systems, high-performing teams, and innovative products, James has a proven track record of aligning technology with business objectives and delivering transformative, compliant, and market-differentiating solutions.
Before joining EZCORP, James held senior leadership roles including CIO and CTO at Santander Consumer USA, where he directed IT for a $50B+ portfolio and led large-scale modernization and compliance initiatives. He also served as CIO of Employer Direct Healthcare, SVP of R&D at Aspire Ventures.
James holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
